Extended Olympic Squad

The Extended Olympic Squad consists of those athletes who have the potential to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games. 

 

WCL squads for 2010-11 are currently being confirmed and will be announced shortly.

 

  

 

Talent Squad

 The talent squad supports young athletes who have experience of weightlifting through their schools and/or clubs who have the physical and psychological attributes which give them the potential to develop into elite weightlifters.  Athletes in this squad must demonstrate both commitment and progression and are normally expected to be 6-10 years away from representig Great Britain at an Olympic Games.
