Weightlifting Squad Coaches and HPC Assistant Coach Positions

 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the WCL World Class Programme, WCL is the organisation set up to deliver a world class programme for athletes in Olympic weightlifting and Paralympic powerlifting. The programme aims to develop lifters who can compete on the international stage at major competitions such as the World Championships and Olympic and Paralympic Games.  WCL are looking to appoint up to 3 part-time coaches to work with and provide support to the WCL Head Coach at camps, competitions and at the HPC in Leeds.

 

The World Class Weightlifting Squad Coaches and HPC Assistant Coach will work closely with the WCL Head Coach to implement high quality athlete training and competition programmes. There will be an expectation that the WCL squad coaches will share the team manager role when at camps and competitions.

The HPC Assistant coach will be expected to have a good understanding of delivering strength and conditioning support for individual athletes on rehab and prehab programmes.

 

These posts will be based in Leeds where the WCL High Performance Centre is located and will involve international travel and weekend work.
