The three athletes from the World Class Lifting talent confirmation squad, Roxanne Lucock, Robert Truscott and Martin Tweedie, performed very well  at the Breda Games in Holland . In particular Roxanne Luckock who was nominated 'best lifter' in the competition and finished first overall in the female category, this is a fantastic achievement for the athlete as it was her first international competition.  Martin Tweedie finished an overall third in the men's 82.5kg to 90kg, with three succesful lifts and achieving a PB lift of 130kg. Also in the same category Robert Truscott lifted a total of 120kg to place him fourth.

At the Breda Games the above athletes competed  against athletes from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
