jf_british_schools.jpgFarghally new PB in snatch in Chiang Mai

Joshua Farghally started his event well with good lifts of  105kg and 110kg,  the 110kg was a new PB,  and 5th place in the B  group. However things did not go to plan in the Clean and Jerk where after struggling in warm, he dropped his opener to 132 kg, which he got, then moving up to 137kg he cleaned it twice however could  not jerk it.  Farghally had had to fly out late to join the team due to exams, and had not had time to train fully in the heat which affected his C&J.

Overall this was a good GB team performance with the youth squad gaining good experience for the European Youths later in the year where there will be real medal opportunities for some of the team.

Feher commented how really proud he was of how the athletes performed and conducted themselves in chaing mai.
